Is your 5th–9th grader looking to develop their basketball skills or compete at a higher level? Midwest Select is looking for dedicated athletes who are ready to learn, grow, and compete!

Whether your player is just beginning their journey or ready for competitive basketball, we offer opportunities designed to help athletes reach their full potential.

Build strong fundamentals, improve skills, gain confidence, and develop a better understanding of the game in a positive and encouraging environment.

This is only offered to our 5th grade players. 


🏆 Competition Team

For athletes ready to push themselves, compete against strong competition, and take their game to the next level.

About Midwest Select

About Us

Founded in 2026, Midwest Select is a non-profit youth basketball organization based in Independence, Missouri serving Kansas City and surrounding areas. Our program is dedicated to developing young athletes both on and off the court through skill development, leadership, teamwork, and positive mentorship.

At Midwest Select, we believe basketball is more than a game, it is an opportunity to teach discipline, accountability, character, and community. We are committed to creating a supportive environment where players can grow as athletes, leaders, and well-rounded individuals.

Through training, competition, and community involvement, we strive to inspire the next generation to work hard, support one another, and represent their families, city, and community with pride.
